It looks as if the Jean Eustache and Jacques Demy retrospectives slated for the National Gallery of Art will begin their tour at the Cinematheque Ontario.

Spring at Cinematheque features a retrospective of around 12 features and documentaries by Jean Eustache (The Mother and the Whore), whom many consider one of the greatest French directors.
It can't come to DC any quicker.

Eustache retro! This becomes, almost automatically, the event of the year - cinematic or otherwise. I hope it comes to New York!
